So I say he probably just misheard you. ;)My neighbour inadvertently did something similar to me yesterday. Me and her 6 year old daughter have a deal (not official, list started happening one day) where I make something for her (bracelet, plaque for her wall, badges and stickers for when she does good shit) and she will make me stuff too to say thanks (cards, drawings etc).
For 48 Laws, yes, totally avoid that. Stoicism teaches that virtue is the only good. Pursuing wealth, lying, trickery, etc are all against virtue. If you did it once, you can certainly do it again. It sounds like you learned something about yourself, to be grateful.Everyone is different in their progress because our bodies and minds are all different. I never lost an ounce when I quit drinking, I actually gained quite a bit of weight.
Ha ha yeah, I find it a little creepy tbh. It weird :) Even now when mine probably has barely any room left I can feel her doing what I assume is an attempt to stretch or something. I feel her little legs/feet wriggling around at the top of my bump and her hands/arms moving around at the bottom, at the same time.
It sounds like OP has some other concerns to address, and may be letting them confuse how to deal with this particular instance. This is a fantastic opportunity to model for your daughter how to respect boundaries around other people choices that don really affect her (and how to shut down kids who haven learned such yet). You have a chance to give your daughter a leg up on social intelligence that serve her her whole life, please recognize and take advantage of that..
